Who is a partner?

• You organise something in Noord or you run a venue there.
• You follow or tag @upnoord on Instagram, submit your events to us, or share our agenda.
• You agree to the short arrangement below.

What do you get?

• The label Partner on your events in the agenda and in Highlights, and on your venue.
• A row From our partners on the homepage with your upcoming events.
• One extra point in Highlights. That point can lift an event over the threshold and decides between equal scores; an event with more points always comes first.
• A chance that we share your post in our stories, only when the maker said YES to that.
• You can offer guest list places or a preview to our local guides. In every post about it they clearly add Paid partnership, #samenwerking or #gekregen.
• A monthly overview of how often visitors clicked through from UpNoord to your site and Instagram.

How do we choose the highlights?

The arrangement

1. Being a partner is free. You pay nothing and neither do we.
2. Your events get one extra point in Highlights. We say so openly next to Highlights under How do we choose, and partners always carry the label.
3. We decide what goes into the agenda and write our own short text; we always link to your site for tickets and times.
4. If you give something to our local guides (guest list, free ticket, preview), we instruct them to state that clearly.
5. Every month we email you how often visitors clicked through from upnoord.nl to your website and your Instagram, and how often your venue page was viewed. These are totals only: we do not know who clicked and we give you no data about visitors. Your figures are for you only; other partners do not see them and we do not share them per partner with anyone. We use them ourselves to improve UpNoord. If you do not want the monthly email, let us know; you simply stay a partner.
6. You can stop at any time. Send an email and the label and your row are gone within 7 days.
7. We can end the partnership or leave out an event if it does not fit UpNoord or if the arrangement is not kept. We let you know in advance, with the reason. When ending the partnership we give 30 days notice, except in cases of deception or abuse.
8. If we change this arrangement, we let you know by email at least 15 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can stop.
9. You become a partner after you agreed to this arrangement, by email or in a message from the official Instagram account of your organisation.
